The app is a training and nutrition log. It is not a doctor, a dietitian, or a coach, and nothing in it is medical advice.
Before starting or changing how you train or eat, and especially if you are pregnant, recovering from injury or illness, or managing a medical condition, speak to a qualified professional. If something hurts, stop.
The numbers are estimates
Calorie and macronutrient targets are calculated from published population formulas using the height, weight, age and activity you enter. They describe an average person with those inputs, not you. Your real requirements can differ substantially.
Muscle recovery is likewise a model based on what you have logged, not a measurement of your body.
Food figures come from public nutrition databases and from what users enter themselves. They can be wrong, and portions in the real world vary. Treat every number here as a useful approximation.
Your account
You need an account to use the app, you must be at least 16, and the details you give should be accurate, because the targets are calculated from them.
Keep your password to yourself. Anything done through your account is treated as done by you.
What you put in
Your training, meals and measurements remain yours. You grant only the permission needed to run the service: to store your data, and to show it back to you.
Custom foods and exercises you create are visible only to you unless you are told otherwise at the time.
Do not upload anything unlawful, abusive, or that infringes someone else’s rights. Accounts doing so may be suspended or removed.
Subscriptions
Ironmade is free to download and use. Some features are part of Ironmade Premium, an optional auto-renewing subscription, offered monthly (6.99€) or yearly (39.99€). Prices can vary by country and are always shown in the App Store before you buy.
New subscribers can start with a 7-day free trial. Unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the subscription begins and payment is taken. Any unused part of a free trial ends when you buy a subscription.
Payment is charged to your Apple ID. The subscription renews automatically for the same period and price unless it is cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and your account is charged for the renewal within the 24 hours before that period ends.
You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple ID settings: on your iPhone, Settings → your name → Subscriptions. Cancelling stops the next renewal, and you keep Premium until the end of the period you have paid for.
Purchases are processed by Apple, and refunds are handled under Apple’s policies, not by the developer. If you are in the EU, you may have a right to withdraw from a purchase within 14 days, which Apple handles under its own terms.
Availability
The app is provided as it is. It depends on services that can fail, and no guarantee is made that it will always be available or that it will never lose data.
Export your data from Settings if it matters to you. That feature exists precisely so your history is never trapped in one place.
Liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, the developer is not liable for injury, health outcomes, or any loss arising from your use of the app or from reliance on the figures it shows.
Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot lawfully be excluded. If you are a consumer, your statutory rights are unaffected.
Ending it
You can stop using the app and delete your account at any time. An account may be suspended if these terms are broken.
Apple
If you got the app from the App Store, these terms are between you and the developer, not Apple. Apple is not responsible for the app or its content, and has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for it.
If the app fails to meet any warranty that applies to it, you may notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price, if any. To the fullest extent the law allows, Apple has no other warranty obligation for the app.
The developer, not Apple, is responsible for handling any claims about the app, including product liability claims, claims that it fails to meet a legal or regulatory requirement, consumer protection claims, and claims that it infringes someone else’s intellectual property.
By using the app you confirm that you are not in a country subject to a US government embargo, and are not on any US government list of prohibited or restricted parties.
Your use of the app must also follow the usage rules in Apple’s Media Services Terms and Conditions. Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms and may enforce them against you.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of Greece, and its courts have jurisdiction, without removing any protection you have under the law of the country you live in.
